Randell H. Iwasaki Named 2022 IRF «Man of the Year»

Washington DC, November 1, 2022 – Randell H. Iwasaki P.E., M. ASCE, an internationally recognized transportation policy-maker and industry leader, has been nominated to receive the International Road Federation’s highest individual recognition on the opening day of the IRF Global R2T Conference & Exhibition in Washington DC.

Established in 1951, IRF’s Man (or Woman) of the Year award recognizes eminent public, private and education sector professionals with an outstanding track record of leadership and commitment to the road transport industry. Over the years, the award has distinguished some of the world’s most influential transport leaders for their work in the field of advocacy, policy, research and educational programs in support of better, safer, and more sustainable road networks globally.

Mr. Iwasaki is being recognized for a remarkable career at CALTRANS, Contra Costa Transportation Authority, and Amazon Web Services, where his transformational leadership has resulted in groundbreaking innovations and advanced the state of the art in safer and more sustainable mobility solutions.
